Great vibe yesterday: running a workshop about communication, collaboration and good listening for the volunteers of POLKA- Centrum voor Poolse Vrouwen in The Hague. Polka is an impressive, successful non-profit organization promoting immigrant women empowerment. The volunteers bring a mix of professional and life experiences. How to engage a diverse group around a shared goal?
Yesterday we talked about communicating with people who are different from us, understanding each other’s preferences, and skillful listening. Personal stories were shared, we learned from each other and laughed. Great audience and a rewarding experience for me as a facilitator.
